Social media posts claim that during the Gen-Z protest in Nepal, students and youth carried a portrait of Uttar Pradesh chief minister Yogi Adityanath.
The claim is false. The viral photo is not from the Gen-Z protest in Nepal, but from a pro-monarchy rally in Kathmandu in March 2025, where supporters displayed portraits of both deposed King Gyanendra Shah and Yogi Adityanath.
