A video circulating on social media claims to show a shocking incident on a highway in Coonoor, Tamil Nadu, where an ambulance door opens suddenly, and a stretcher carrying a patient rolls out onto the road.

1. Signboards Don’t Match Any Tamil Nadu Location

Upon careful observation, Newschecker noticed that the highway signboards in the viral video display names of places such as “Toa Baja” , which is located in Puerto Rico, not India. This immediately ruled out any link to Coonoor or Tamil Nadu.

2. Visual Clues Indicated AI Generation

The video showed unnaturally smooth textures, a lack of fine environmental details, and an overall synthetic look, common indicators of AI-generated visuals.

To confirm this, frames from the clip were tested on three AI-detection tools — Hive Moderation, WasItAI, and SightEngine — all of which suggested that the video could be AI-generated.

3. Watermark Leads To AI Creator Page

We saw the watermark “AI Criolla” on the video. A search led to an Instagram post dated November 3, 2025, shared by digital creator Nebulo Ivan Vélez. The caption, written in Spanish, humorously described the scene as an ambulance incident in Puerto Rico.

The creator’s bio explicitly mentions that the page produces “AI-powered parodies”, confirming the content’s artificial and comedic nature, not a real-world incident.
