A Google keyword search for “Air Chief Marshal AP Singh,” “Defence Partnership Days 2025,” and “Pakistan” did not yield any credible news reports or official statements from the Indian Air Force indicating that the top defence official made any remarks praising Pakistan.
However, we found a report by news agency ANI, dated November 30, 2025, which stated:
“The Chief of the Air Staff, Air Chief Marshal AP Singh, on Sunday extended his greetings to the organisers and participants of ‘Defence Partnership Days 2025’, highlighting the event’s role in promoting Atmanirbhar initiatives in India’s defence sector.”

We reviewed the complete ANI report and did not find any reference to the remarks attributed to the Air Force Chief in the viral image. The ANI story included excerpts from the Air Chief’s formal message, but none of them align with the claims circulating online.
Furthermore, we found that the authentic message by Air Chief Marshal AP Singh was shared through the official social media handles of the Indian Air Force. The post stated:
“The Chief of the Air Staff Air Chief Marshal AP Singh, conveys his best wishes for the success of Defence Partnership Days 2025 being organised by the Centre for Aerospace Power & Strategic Studies (CAPSS) and Indian Military Review (lMR) on 1-2 Dec 2025 at Manekshaw Centre, New Delhi. The event will foster closer cooperation between Armed Forces and defence industry to identify sources of indigenous supply, import substitution and resilient supply chains towards a more Atmanirbhar Bharat”
The social media post included an image similar to the one circulating online.

On comparing the two images, we observed that:

Additionally, PIB Fact Check, the government’s official fact-checking unit, confirmed that the message circulating online is false.
Newschecker has previously exposed multiple fabricated claims (seen here, here and here) suggesting that the Air Force Chief made pro-Pakistan remarks. These narratives are frequently amplified by pro-Pakistan social media handles.

Hence, the alleged message attributed to Air Force Chief Air Chief Marshal AP Singh praising Pakistan’s defence capabilities is fabricated.
