Video Claiming To Show Monkey Drawing Picture Of Lord Hanuman On Wall Is AI-Generated

Fact

Newschecker noticed several visual discrepancies, usually associated with AI imagery, such as a person’s legs appearing to be distorted and the faces of the others not being defined.

We then ran a reverse image search of keyframes, which led us to the same video uploaded on Instagram on October 9, 2025, by @multiversematrix. According to the caption, the video had been generated using Higgsfield AI, while the bio of the user stated that all content on the channel is AI-generated.

The Deepfakes Analysis Unit (DAU) of the Misinformation Combat Alliance (MCA), of which Newschecker is a part, ran the clip past AI content detection tools WasitAI and Hiya, which strongly suggested that the video and audio were likely created by AI.
