Evidence
A keyword search for “Miss Universe” and “Manika Vishwakarma” yielded no credible reports of her winning the global pageant.
However, an NDTV report dated August 19, 2025, confirms that Manika Vishwakarma from Rajasthan was crowned Miss Universe India 2025 and will represent India at the Miss Universe 2025 event in Thailand, scheduled for November 2025.
A reverse image search of the viral video’s keyframes led to a Facebook post by India Today (December 13, 2021) showing the same clip, captioned, “The winning moment when India’s Harnaaz Sandhu was crowned Miss Universe 2021.”
Reviewing the official Miss Universe 2021 livestream held in Eilat, Israel, the same visuals appear around the 2:55:00 mark, confirming that the video indeed shows Harnaaz Sandhu’s crowning moment, not Manika Vishwakarma’s.
