At least nine people were killed and several others injured in a car explosion near the Red Fort in New Delhi on Monday evening (November 10, 2025), just a day before the second phase of the Bihar Assembly elections.
Soon after the incident, a video surfaced on social media purportedly showing Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath warning Bihar voters to support the BJP or face consequences similar to the Delhi blast.
In the video, the Chief Minister is purportedly heard saying, “I appeal to the people of Bihar that what happened in Delhi can also happen in Bihar. We have not started Trishul so that our youth can show their duty. We have to make a Hindu nation.”
“For this Hindu nation, not just eight, but even if we have to sacrifice 800 people, we will do it. All of you have deceived us. But if tomorrow in Phase 2 you vote against the BJP, then you will have to bear the consequences.”

Evidence
A Google keyword search using “CM Yogi,” “Bihar,” and “Delhi blast” yielded no reports linking Adityanath to such a statement. None of the official social media handles of the Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister (seen here, here and here) carried any such message.
A reverse image search of keyframes from the viral video led to a YouTube livestream by The Print, whose watermark is seen in the viral clip, recorded on October 31, 2025, showing CM Yogi Adityanath addressing a rally in Siwan, Bihar — well before the Delhi blast on November 10, 2025. It showed the Chief Minister addressing the rally in the same backdrop as seen in the viral clip.
We skimmed through the entire speech, but did not find CM Yogi Adityanath making the alleged remark.

Upon close analysis of the viral clip, we observed several visual inconsistencies. The chief minister’s lower jaw area appeared slightly smudged, and the earring—clearly visible in the original video—seemed to merge with the skin in the viral footage. The buttons on his kurta also appeared distorted, and even the image on the backdrop poster showed visible warping, indicating signs of digital manipulation.
Further, the Chief Minister’s tone and pitch in the viral clip do not align naturally with his real speech pattern. A member of his security detail in the background was also missing.

When analysed using Hive Moderation, the clip showed a 99.3% probability of being AI-generated or deepfake content.

Verdict
The viral video claiming that Yogi Adityanath threatened Bihar voters with Delhi blast-like consequences is doctored. The clip is manipulated using old footage and does not depict any real statement made by the Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister.
