Fact Check
Bihar STET 2025 has been postponed from October 14 to November 24, 2025.
The claim is false. The Bihar School Examination Board has not postponed the Bihar STET 2025. The exam will be held as scheduled on October 14, 2025.
An alleged circular issued by the Bihar School Examination Board (BSEB) announcing a postponement of the Bihar Secondary Teacher Eligibility Test (BSTET) has gone viral on social media. The exam was originally scheduled for October 14, 2025, but the viral circular falsely claims it has been rescheduled to November 24, 2025.

No credible media reports or official announcements supported any postponement. Instead, multiple outlets reported that BSEB released the STET 2025 admit card on its official website, confirming the exam’s start date as October 14, 2025.
The BSEB addressed the rumour directly in an official clarification, stating:
“Bihar School Examination Board had published Notification No. PR 245/2025 in various newspapers on 01.10.2025, according to which Secondary Teacher Eligibility Test (STET), 2025 is scheduled to be conducted from 14.10.2025. No changes have been made to the aforementioned date.”

On closer inspection, the viral circular is identical to the genuine one released by the board—except for the exam dates and release number, confirming that the viral version was digitally manipulated.

The viral circular claiming that the Bihar STET 2025 has been postponed to November 24 is fake. The Bihar School Examination Board has confirmed that the exam will commence on October 14, 2025, as originally scheduled.
