The menu from the state banquet for Russian President Vladimir Putin was riddled with spelling errors.
The image circulating on social media is doctored. The official menu had no such errors.
A viral photo claims the dinner menu from the state banquet hosted at the Rashtrapati Bhavan for Russian President Vladimir Putin during his recent visit to India contained multiple spelling mistakes.

A keyword search led us to a December 5, 2025 post by PTI on X, which shared the complete, original dinner menu from Rashtrapati Bhavan. The menu shown in the viral image does not match the authentic version.

Upon comparison, we found that several words in the viral photo, such as Spiced, Garnished, Seeds, Morels, and Sheermal, were either misspelled or altered. These errors do not appear in the official menu.
