Fact Check
Indian Air Force performing aerial manoeuvres at the Dubai Airshow 2025.
The viral video is much older footage from the Jesolo Air Show in Italy, available online since June 2025, months before the Dubai event.
On November 21, 2025, an Indian Air Force (IAF) Tejas fighter jet crashed while taking part in the Dubai Airshow 2025. The pilot has been identified as Wing Commander Naman Syal from Kangra, while the IAF has already stated that a court of inquiry will investigate the cause of the tragic crash.
Against this backdrop, several social media users are sharing another video, claiming to show a display by the IAF at the event, while stating, “Converts and Khangresis, who rejoiced at the Tejas Crash. This is also our Indian Air Force at the Dubai Air Show. Painting the sky with our tricolor (sic).” (Archive Link)

1. Reverse Image Search Traces Video to June 2025
A reverse image search of the viral video’s keyframes led to a YouTube upload dated June 29, 2025, claiming to show aerobatics at the annual Jesolo Air Show in Jesolo, Italy. This confirms the video predates the Dubai Airshow 2025, which was held from November 17 to November 21.

2. Multiple Platforms Confirm Same Origin
Similar videos were uploaded to other YouTube channels at the same time, also claiming to be from the Jesolo Air Show.
3. Official Jesolo Tourism Account Shared the Video
On June 29, 2025, the verified Jesolo Tourism Instagram account posted the identical clip, crediting it to the 27th edition of the Jesolo Air Show, held on June 28, 2025.
Reportedly, on June 28, 2025, the 27th edition of the Jesolo Air Show was held. That three-hour air show drew a huge crowd, and provided moments of adrenaline and excitement for the large crowd. Moreover, there are no credible reports or official records stating that the IAF took part in the Jesolo Air Show, while we learnt that the event is noted for the participation of the Italian Air Force aerobatic team Frecce Tricolori.
Thus, it is clear that the viral video does not show the Indian Air Force performing aerial manoeuvres at the Dubai Airshow 2025. The video is old and from the Jesolo Air Show in Italy.
