Fact
Newschecker ran a reverse image search of keyframes, which led us to the same 41-second video shared on X by handle @zhao_dashuai, which is currently withheld in India, on April 13, 2025, well before the deadly terror attack in Jammu and Kashmir’s Pahalgam on April 22.
“Artillery doctrine done right, is voluminous precision strike (sic),” read the caption of the post accompanying the video.

We also came across multiple reports on Chinese media, seen here and here, sharing the same video. “Certain army units organised a multi-subject, multi-ammunition, and multi-firearm combat shooting assessment, aiming to enhance the troops’ ability to carry out diversified combat missions in a real combat environment,” read a Xinhua News report, dated April 15, 2025. Although we could not independently verify the location of the video, we can confirm that the military drill is not related to the aftermath of the Pahalgam terror attack.
